EPCM Services Estimate Application Development

The EPCM Services Estimate is a container of estimates with timelines, estimate elements deliverables, project positions, man hours and cost needed to complete the project.

  • Business rules and functional requirements

Construction Management database application – database migration and application re-design

Benchmark DWH - Project Historical Data Warehouse – Full SDLC

The goal of the project was to provide basis for calculation of key estimating metrics based on:

  • EPCM services over the various disciplines

  • Ratio of capital cost over various commodities

Data sources: various; Target system: SQL Server

  • Developed a SQL server relational data warehouse

  • ETL of historical projects from various sources

  • Built aggregates and developed reports

Forecast database and reporting – full SDLC

Objective: use current project data to aim in forecasting for resource requirements for WA HUB

  • Designed a SQL Server database store and MS Access front end

  • Designed workflow for weekly imports from the source systems

  • Implemented data processing

  • Developed reports for Cost Units and Discipline leads and Top Management

EPCM services estimating tool - A Spreadsheet-Based Estimate tool

This tool generates estimates by using an Engineering Work Package or Work Breakdown Structure and produces a Deliverables list, Level of Effort and Expenses. Target systems are document/drawings management systems and EPCM Progress management system
